London UBER Welcomes Giants

img_6239It is a long flight from Arizona and UBER provided a great service for the Goodman Giants. London once again allows UBER and the Giant’s driver was a pleasure to work with for the group. It was difficult to find the standard ride sharing pick up point at Heathrow (it is a big place for  little Giants), and UBER driver waited. Quite a site when the Giants walked up with 6 bags with the 6 Giants. The driver thought all would not fit and he waited while the Mother or Giants arranged things – didn’t just wait, he helped where he could.

Having used taxis in London in the past, as it is a standard – this trip was far better than the img_6285memories of riding in the historic looking taxis. Other options were reviewed prior to the drive: price, convenience, and time helped UBER stand out. The Heathrow Express is what all rave about: For 6 that costs 75 pounds instead of 54.37 with UBER, and the Heathrow Express trip ends at Paddington Station.  Not at the Residence Inn London Bridge like UBER. Driving safely and friendly while traveling door to door in 45 minutes.

And the Giants rating is:

5.0 Goodmans

5 Goodmans!

Had the driver had a bigger XL car he and UBER would have received 6 Goodmans.

Why not LYFT you ask? The collective “we” should all ask them, they do not offer their service in the UK.

Giants were not paid or compensated in any way to rave about UBER, other than the great service paid in exchange for the money paid to the driver.

I’m excited to be following your family on this epic trip. We’re taking our 3 kids to Europe for 2 weeks during Spring Break 2019, visiting friends in Switzerland and family on a mission in Denmark. Super anxious to read how well it goes and any good tips of do’s and don’ts when traveling with kids. Travel safe and enjoy!
